Installing ThreatResponder on Windows computers

Download from the CheckLight portal

Open CheckLight in Chrome and sign in. Select Endpoints in the navigation bar, then select Add Endpoint.

1. Download the installer. On a Windows computer, select Download for Windows .exe for the installation steps below. The .msi package is also available.

Select Download for Windows .exe to start the setup described below.

If you are downloading from a Mac or Linux computer, select the Windows icon under Also available for. To prepare a link for another Windows computer, use Generate Link → Windows .exe or Windows .msi.

2. Open the downloaded file and read and accept the terms in the License Agreement. Click on the Install button.

3. Click on the Finish button to begin using ThreatResponder service.

After installation, the endpoint will be displayed in the Endpoints section of the Checklight portal.
